Material and Weight Distribution 

The stability of the clubhead is achieved through deliberate material placement. The central hexagonal section and the sole plate utilize lightweight materials to reduce mass in the middle of the club. The outer perimeter is constructed from heavier stainless steel. This effectively pushes the weight outward to restrict twisting on off-center strikes.

To further control the balance, this model incorporates four interchangeable sole weights. The standard setup places two heavier weights in the rear and two lighter weights in the front, driving the center of gravity lower and deeper. Golfers can swap these weights to tune the putter for a shallower center of gravity, or shift the bias toward the heel or toe depending on their stroke path tendencies.

Face and Insert Design 

Contact performance is handled by the new Ai-STAR insert. This dual-layer construction uses a resin striking surface backed by aluminum. The intended effect is to maintain ball speed and a consistent forward roll even when contact is made outside the center of the face.

The Ai-STAR insert delivers a slightly firmer feel and clearer auditory feedback at impact compared to older models. Because of the efficient energy transfer, the face design pairs well with a compact, slower-tempo putting stroke, allowing the putter to do the work of generating distance.

Setup and Alignment Features 

The visual and physical geometry of the TRTL S is carefully considered to help the player set up squarely to the target. The bottom of the putter features less rounding than traditional shapes. This helps the club sit flat and square on the turf at address without naturally wanting to twist open.

For visual alignment, the club uses a Dual Track system. Two distinct, thick lines run from the face entirely to the back of the head to frame the golf ball and highlight the intended target line. Furthermore, the top blade features a very slight curve from the heel to the toe. This subtle design choice prevents the clubhead from looking visually distorted when addressing the ball on uneven lies or varying lie angles.
